Our truffle hunting experience isnʼt just a simple search̶itʼs an immersive, educational journey into the world of truffles.
Youʼll discover what truffles are, their role in nature, and even learn some secret tricks to cultivate them successfully. Iʼll show you how to train a truffle-hunting dog. At the end of the activity, youʼll enjoy a tasting featuring fresh truffles, farm products, and wines from our winery.
KAYAK IN THE FOREST
Experience a ‘nature bath’ kayaking on a timeless lake in lush woods
Who lived here thousands of years ago? Why was this area so important to our ancestors? Why are there so many castles in this forest? How many herds of wolves live here?
What awaits you.
A different side of Tuscany. This peaceful lake, surrounded by wild woods, is ideal for a “nature bath” or a picnic. Just a few kilometers from our winery and nestled within the 800-year-old Calcione Castle forest reserve, the 5-km-long lake is often deserted.
Your adventure starts with a short walk from the parking area to the kayaks. You can also request a picnic or arrange lunch or dinner at our farm afterward.
