We experienced the cooking class with Mauro and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Mauro is extremely knowledgeable and inviting, and clearly very passionate about everything he does. He gave us a super interesting tour through his mill, showed us where he stores his grapes, and explained his process of producing wheat. We then had a cooking class which was both so fun and charming as well as enlightening. Mauro, also an excellent chef, then cooked the pasta we made with three different sauces, all of which were delicious and better than the last, and all served with their estate grown wine. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful Autumn views and took it all in. Truly so special and magical. I can’t speak highly enough about Mauro or this experience. We bought wine and pasta after to take home with us and would recommend this to everyone. A day we’ll be talking about for a long time to come. Thank you Mauro!!

Super experience and very knowledgable host, explaining all his various researches on truffles. Dinner cooked by the host himself was fantastic! Also very flexible and easy to contact to help us find our way to the farm!

Wow-what an experience. We toured with Mauro to learn about the wheat and winemaking processes, ground our own flour, made pasta, and were served a delicious meal, complete with Mauro's wines and his wonderful vin Santo. This place is an absolute gem, and Mauro is a treasure.

We booked the Pasta Cooking Class with Mauro, the owner.
We started with a glass of wine and a tour through the fattoria. He showed us the rooms where the wine is produced and where the barrels are stored.
After that Mauro took us to his mill and explained how and why he produces his own wheat flour. It was nice to hear that he experiments with old wheat varieties.
With a box full of his own flour we went to the guesthouse, where he would show us step by step how to make three different types of pasta. In the breaks there was a plate with different snacks and specialties to try.
In the end Mauro prepared the pasta for us with different delicious family recipes.
We had a great time! The conversations where exciting and very informative. For every question about Italian cuisine Mauro had an answer. He is very enthusiastic about everything he showed us and you can clearly see he wants to share his passion for wine and food.

We had a quick, but authentic tour to the winery and a comprehensive (6 wines) tasting. Together they were offered for a very competetive price of 15e.
The highpoint of our visit was the guide. He was very friendly and he offered great insights on their process. He even provided us with some great tips for the rest of the week.
